At RAPA Dance we believe in nurturing young talent, creating dancers and performers who can individually express themselves so they are confident and bright performers.
We are here to guide and train your child to a professional and high standard, both in the ISTD syllabus and with freestyle classes whether it be for sheer enjoyment or for a career in dance and the Performing Arts, keeping their excitement and love for what they do intact.
'RAPA Dance' specialise in all genres of dance, with fully qualified ISTD-trained teachers providing classes from ages 2 through to adults. Our professional studios are based at Ratton School in Eastbourne, East Sussex

disneyland Paris 2024
'take us 2 the magic'
Last October, RAPA Dance performed on the big stage at 'Disneyland Paris' for their 'Take Us 2 The Magic' Performing in front of a packed theatre. Some of our dancers had the most amazing & magical experience performing at Disneyland Paris.
At RAPA, we aim to offer all children the opportunity to perform, whether on the big stage at Disney, in a dance festival, fete or our bi-annual school show. It's all part of the excellent, professional training you'll receive at RAPA Dance.

'Discover your Talent'
Classical Greek Dance
Classical Greek has been so popular amongst the students over the years, with dance festivals and workshops from both myself, Miss Tegan and Miss Pippa and I am happy to be inviting Pippa, a good friend of mine and ole dancing buddy to join our team on a regular basis and offer these wonderful classes to all dancers age 9+ on a Tuesday from 6pm.
Ellie's Fitness Fusion Class
Saturdays 1.30-2.30 pm Age 11+ This class will build stamina, endurance, power, strength and flexibility for our dancers and offer the opportunity to practise skills seen on Instagram, TikTok in a safe environment under supervision.
A lot of our dancers love being inspired and want to learn tricks and moves taught in Vocational colleges. We do spend time in Jazz perfecting scissor leaps, fame jumps etc and this class will allow dancers to practise even more tricky steps or continue to perfect leaps for festival dances. Advisable for dancers wishing to go on to Performing Arts College, a career in Dance or regular festival dancers.
Chords of Confidence Class
(Age 9+)
Unleash your inner performer and take your confidence to the next level with our Confidence building Performance Class, designed for dancers aged 9+ who want to explore their full potential in the world of performing arts.
In today's industry, performers need to master more than just dance—they must also be confident singers and actors. Auditioning for performing arts colleges or showcases can be intimidating, especially if you’ve never sung solo before. This class is here to guide you through that journey, helping you:

Build confidence in singing and acting through song.

Practice introducing yourself and performing in front of an audience.

Experiment with new songs and refine your performance techniques.

In May, we performed our first group musical theatre number choreographed by the talented Mia, sparking a newfound love of singing among our students. This class is designed to complement your current dance or musical theatre training, helping you find your voice and grow as a performer.
